Previously A. D. Sicks was a professional singer/songwriter/bass player. Sicks put aside his bass and learned to sing and play guitar. He has learned a full slate of classic, wholesome country and gospel music. We hope you can welcome him to your event to spread the message of love to those who might otherwise think they have been forgotten and rejected. That is why he took on the name A. D. Sicks as 86 is the numerical code for throwing a patron out of a bar. As it were, he was thrown out of the nightlife and into the true light.
He spent much of his musical career playing rock, blues, and country bass guitar in bars and clubs in Southwestern Oklahoma. He also played in several area worship bands after having converted to Christianity. Striving to embody the principles of Matthew 25 and Isaiah 58 he retired from the ballroom brawl to play for the lonely and brokenhearted at his own expense with one message – God didn’t forget you because He put in this rotten sinner’s heart a desire to put his own way aside and remember you.
